At halftime, I moved on to see my friends in Section 23 and from there I watched the rest of Maryland's victory. After the game, we went to Gossett Field House and sat in on Head Coach Friedgen's press conference. He talked about the game, the Terps seniors and the post season. We saw a couple Bowl representatives from the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and Champs Sports Bowl. I believe the Chick-Fil-A Bowl is interested in N.C. State. Just my two cents here but I do hope the Champs Sports Bowl representative was impressed with a team that improved from 2-10 to 8-4 that has a red shirt freshman QB throw for 417 yards and 4 TD's and a Lambourghini WR who caught 14 passes for 224 yards and 4 TD's. From there, we met Assistant Coaches Don Brown and Dave Sollazzo before we had a moment with Coach Friedgen.
In closing out the regular season, I hope everyone who checked in here on a week to week basis enjoyed the picture essays every home game and found this blog informative. I tried to capture the experience of Maryland Football via my camera from my seat in Section 19. I know I need some work on improving my skills which is why I'll be at other Terp sports in the future trying to learn more.
