Tough loss but the Terps have got to somehow put it behind them and rebound against Virginia next week.
They got beat on a last-minute touchdown pass, a great pass by freshman QB Stephen Morris.
Alex Wujciak: "We had good coverage on it, he just made a hell of a throw."
Don Brown, Defensive Coordinator: "Very disappointIng. Guys worked so hard and to come close and not get rewarded? I just feel bad for my guys."
Head Coach Ralph Friedgen said he hoped to run out the clock with Maryland leading by two points with 5:22 left but it didn’t work out.
Davin Meggett rushed three times but could not make a first down so the Terps punted the ball back to Miami. Still, with Miami out of time outs I thought the Terps were in good shape.
