Notre Dame 45, Maryland 21

The season just keeps getting uglier and uglier for Maryland. Last night at Fed Ex Field they were never really in the game. Result: Another opponent gains over 500 total yards and the Terps lose 45-21.

And it went from bad to worse as starting QB Danny O'Brien broke his non-throwing arm and is out for the season. Danny tweeted about it this morning.

@DannyOBrien5: Thanks to everyone for the thoughts & prayers. Clean break in the humerus, out 12 weeks. God has a plan, keepin' the faith.
